Visualizing my time spent.
Living in the “city of coffee” has allowed me to explore a plethora of cafes and specialty coffee shops. Over the past 2 years, I have collected data of how much time I spend in each one and my reason for going. I visualized my data set using Illustrator and Photoshop to create a Seattle street-map with my coffee shop hotspots.
The radius of the circle represents the hours spent in a specific coffee shop, with my most common activity represented by the color codes. As shown, I typically don’t travel too far from school when doing homework, but I tend to venture much further when looking to have fun.
